Historic Janssen Park is listed on the National Register of historic places. This ten-acre park hosts an 1851 log cabin, two spring fed ponds, memorials honoring T. Texas Tyler and Lum & Abner, and lots of green space for relaxing. Janssen Park is the site for many town events and festivals as well as a popular backdrop for photographers and artists.
